Welcome to the web site or mobile application (collectively, the "Platform") of HomeFundIt including its subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, and service providers, collectively, "HomeFundIt", we recognize that our relationships with you are based on integrity and trust. As part of that trust relationship, we are committed to keeping your personal information private. We also want you to be aware of how we protect, collect, and disclose your personal information. This platform is operated by HomeFundIt and has been created to provide information to you and our visitors about our company and our online platform designed to permit users to post a fundraising campaign to accept monetary donations and achieve homeownership.
How we protect your personal information:
Maintaining physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information: • Restricting access to your personal information to employees with a business need to know; • Requiring that any HomeFundIt partners with whom we share your personal information protect it and use it exclusively for the purpose for which it was shared; • Ensuring personal information is only shared with third parties as necessary for standard business purposes or as authorized by you; CMG Mortgage, Inc., dba CMG Financial its subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, and service providers
Senior Management of HomeFundIt will not tolerate any violations of a consumer’s privacy, either expressed or implied, by an Officer, Manager, Supervisor or Staff Member of HomeFundIt, or by any vendor, or service provider that does business on behalf of HomeFundIt. Furthermore, HomeFundIt will only contract with service providers who are capable of maintaining appropriate safeguards of our customer’s personal information. A strict initial due diligence will be performed by HomeFundIt to ensure these providers has security measures, consistent with the level of safeguards employed by HomeFundIt, in place to handle confidential information prior to contracting with them. Service provider contracts contain appropriate obligations to comply with HomeFundIt safeguarding requirements.
Security: HomeFundIt takes reasonable steps to protect the Personal Data provided via the Services from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error free. In particular, email sent to or from the Services may not be secure. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email. Please keep this in mind when disclosing any Personal Data to HomeFundIt via the Internet.
We may collect personal information about you from: • Our interactions with you, including applications and other forms, interviews, communications and Personal Data That You Provide Through the Services: We collect Personal Data from you (including, but not limited to, your name, email address and location) when you voluntarily provide such information, such as when you contact us with inquiries, our web site; • Your transactions with us or our affiliated companies; and • Information we obtain from third parties such as consumer or other reporting agencies By voluntarily providing us with Personal Data, you are consenting to our use of it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you provide Personal Data to the Services, you acknowledge and agree that such Personal Data may be transferred from your current location to the offices and servers of HomeFundIt and the authorized third parties referred to herein located in the United States.
Other information: Non-Personal Data: we automatically receive and store certain non-identifiable personal information. Examples of this non-identifiable personal information include the type of internet browser or mobile device you use, any website from which you have come to the Services, your operating system, location data (which is anonymous and where you log in through the Platform you will be asked if you consent to the Services accessing your location, which can be updated at any time in your device settings) (“Non-Personal Data”). HomeFundIt may store such Non-Personal Data itself or such information may be included in databases owned and maintained by HomeFundIt affiliates, agents or service providers. The Services may use such Non-Personal Data to assist us in providing effective Services and to collect broad demographic information for aggregate use.
Aggregated Data: HomeFundIt often conducts research on its customer demographics, interests and behavior based on the Personal Data, Non-Personal Data, and other information provided to us. HomeFundIt may also disclose aggregated user statistics in order to describe our services to current and prospective business partners, and to other third parties for other lawful purposes. This research may be compiled and analyzed on a de-identified, aggregate basis, and HomeFundIt may share this aggregate data with its affiliates, agents, and business partners. This aggregate information does not identify you personally.
Location Information: Please keep in mind when you use the services to organize a fundraising campaign that other users of the Services may be able to view your city or town and state or province of residence in connection with the campaign, if it is made available within HomeFundIt Public Search Directory.
Social Networking Integrations: We make your online experiences richer and more personalized. To take advantage of this feature, we will ask you to log into or grant us permission via the relevant Social Networking Service. When you add a Social Networking Services account to the Services or log into the Services using your Social Networking Services account, we will collect relevant information necessary to enable the Services to access that Social Networking Service and your data contained within that Social Networking Service. As part of such integration, the Social Networking Service will provide us with access to certain information that you have provided to the Social Networking Service, and we will use, store, and disclose such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. However, please remember that the manner in which Social Networking Services use, store, and disclose your information is governed by the policies of such third parties, and HomeFundIt shall have no liability or responsibility for the privacy practices or other actions of any Social Networking Services that may be enabled within the Services. One of the special features of the Services is that it allows you to enable or log into the Services via various social networking services like Facebook or Twitter ("Social Networking Service(s)"). By directly integrating these services.
Mobile Services: By using the Mobile Services, you agree that we may communicate with you regarding HomeFundIt by SMS, MMS, text message, or other electronic means to your mobile device and that certain information about your usage of the Mobile Services may be communicated to us. Wireless service carrier's standard charges, data rates, and other fees may apply.
Third-Party Personal Data: Personal Data relating to third parties stored in your email and mobile device address books, including, without limitation, names, email addresses, and phone numbers. Third-Party services may request permission to access such Personal data.
Use of Personal Data and other information: HomeFundIt may also use your Personal Data and other Non-Personal Data collected through the Services to help us in providing the Services, processing transactions, fulfilling requests for information, receiving and sending communications, , analyzing data, providing support services, or other tasks from time to time. For instance, if you contact us by email, we will use the Personal Data you provide to answer your question or resolve your problem. HomeFundIt will obtain your prior informed consent as required by applicable law if it intends on using any Personal Data in any manner or for any purpose that is not consistent with this Privacy Policy.
Disclosure of PERSONAL Data and other information: There are certain circumstances in which we may share your Personal data with certain third parties without further notice to you and consider this information to be vital part of our relationship, please see below:
Agents, Consultants and Related Third Parties: HomeFundIt, like many businesses, sometimes hires other companies to perform certain business-related functions. When we employ another entity to perform a function of this nature, we only provide them with the information that they need to perform their specific function and require them to only use the information for the purposes for which it was collected.
Legal Requirements: HomeFundIt may disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of HomeFundIt, (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Services or the public, or (iv) protect against legal liability.
Cookies: The Platform uses cookies, and similar technologies to cookies, to collect information about your access and use of the Platform. A number of cookies we use last only for the duration of your web or application session and expire when you close your browser or exit the application. Other cookies are used to remember you when you return to the Platform and will last for longer. You can also update your privacy settings on your device by setting the “Limit Ad Tracking” and Diagnostics and Usage setting property located in the settings screen of your Apple iPhone or iPad, or by resetting your Android ID through apps that are available in the Play Store. You can also stop information collection by uninstalling the App on your device and you can use the standard uninstall process available as part of your device for this purpose.

Your Rights and Choices

Right to access: You can request a copy of the personal information that we collect from you, and we will share the same with you once we have verified your identity.
Right to delete: You can request us to delete your information. However, we will not be in a position to honor your request if the information is needed to provide the service for which you have engaged with us, if we are required by regulatory authority to retain the data, or if the information is needed for any legal or regulatory purpose. You may be required to verify your identity and re-confirm that you want your data deleted (provided it does not fall under any of the exceptions mentioned above) in order for us to complete your request.
Right to opt out of sale of information: We do not sell your personal information. As such, there is no financial incentive for encouraging you to opt in for sale of such information.
